Established in 1773, Sheffield Assay Office is an organisation which is at the same time steeped in history and technologically advanced. The traditional business of hallmarking precious metal has been joined by a range of analytical and laboratory services which are the most advanced in the country, so it was vital that the new corporate identity would reflect these qualities and take them forward as part of a new marketing initiative.
